- 4 / 5By A Google UserOur experience couldn't be more different to Tim. Just got back from Mortehoe camping August 2011 and we went to the Smugglers twice and had a lovely experience. Went with my wife and 7yr old daughter. Very friendly, food was great, had warm chicken/pancetta salad, my wife had Rump Steak and my daughter had (home cooked) ham egg and chips. Lovely food. The juke box had some great music (not too loud) and we ended up staying there for the evening playing cards. Added experience was having our table next to "Budge" the parrot - entertaining us all.
